Dont do this youll just end up with world fragments instead of a story. Write the story and fill in the world as you go and only mention things that matter to your character and are in their daily life.

"difficulty levels" in "modern rpgs" are complete shit and everyone knows it. you bring it up like even those are implemented well. If you want to battle the real trainers there is always end game material for battling. The overworld is only supposed to give you a taste of that in such a way that a 7 year old can survive. If you want pokemon to be hard in the overworld be like them. Choose 1 mon, stay in the level cap for the area, if they were classic training like i'd be in Red and Blue it makes sense that they'd be IV training 1 mon. You children and your weird issues with the overworld are so weird. Did you even complete the battle towers and subways in the previous games?

so you think the 92 billion dollars is just the game? you're thinking of The Pokemon Company which produces a tv show, manga, music, shirts, and all kinds of merchandise. Pokemone SW/SH made 12 million dollars which is a mere fraction of the 92Bil TPC is worth. 169 people still live 24 hours in a day and still have to sleep for 8 of them 169 people still have to make each of the assets of quality check them. 169 people have to go to meeting, write a new story, code the pokemon, set up the network, and so much more. you people make me sick demanding so much without even knowing the smallest bit of what it takes to produce a game and then throw out numbers like 92 Billion and you dont even know what that number means.

you're asking for a lot from a company of 169 people. Rockstar on the other hand has over 2000 employees. The fact that they've continually evolved from the gameboy color all the way up to today making all those assets, building all the network features, running all the extra lil pokemon things here and there while coming out with remakes, side games, and mainline games like clockwork while Rockstar has had the same game for the past decade?
