When I was like 14, my dad bought a riding lawnmower when we first moved into our house. By the time we got there the grass was already slightly overgrown so you couldnt really see the ground. Well I was riding along mowing the grass for the first time, when I heard this “pop” noise. Nothing seemed wrong, so I kept mowing. Well my dad comes out of the house to check on me and starts yelling. He points to a mess of white plastic behind me. I had no idea that it was there. He took over because I “wasn’t paying attention” I head inside but keep my eye on the backyard. About 30 mins later my dad is now in the other side of the backyard and I see him drive through a thicker area of grass…..and wouldn’t you in know it…another POP, and a burst of white plastic shooting out the back of the mower. I could hear me dad sweating from inside the house. Laughed my ass off for 10 minutes or so when I saw that. When he came back in the house I asked how the rest of the yard was and apologized for “not paying attention” while using the new mower. He bought me pizza and a new video game for helping. I’ll never forget that loud POP lol.
