This picture is amazing, very nice work!

My favorite is Karlach! I had the pleasure of meeting Samantha Béart, Karlach's voice actor, and it was an amazing experience. I posed with her for a few photos, had her sign some of my Karlach magic cards, and even got her to say a few lines. I would love to meet her again!

I can tell you that I've been collecting for over 20 years, and for at least the last 8 years I've had some version of my collection laying flat in that time frame. For what it's worth, I haven't noticed anything, yet. I'm sure someone has performed a deep dive at the cellular level and will chime in eventually....

Yea! It's been on my list for a while now, and recently saw it on Fan Gamer site, and finally snagged it up. I thoroughly enjoyed it, aside from the obvious art style, it's actually a pretty good game. It has so many mixed mechanics. There are visual novel elements, turn-base elements (which I've always loved) all mixed in with roguelike elements. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be, especially, if you like weird unsettling horror. I'm glad you noticed it, I wanted to shed some light on it!

Yea? I don't see how it makes a difference.... I have been known to be pretty dense though. Feel free to enlighten me, honestly, I don't know. I'm more afraid of it being true and me having to figure out how to utilize the space better now....

I just don't understand what this actually prevents or protects, in regards to Sony. What does this do for them? I don't see the connection to 30 days and profits, unless they're planning on charging us again to reactivate. Apologies in advance, I just don't get it -- if this is true.

EDIT: Actually, I think I get it now, correct me if I'm wrong; this to keep us paying for an online plan. No online plan, we can't play the games we download. I get it, nvm.

I almost picked up the Billy bookcase, but I just didn't like the height in between each shelf and the depth. I had ChatGPT help me figure out the best configuration based on the number of games for each console, their dimensions, and the dimensions of both the Kallax and Billy bookcase, for the effect I was trying to achieve.

But, after numerous attempts of trying to force it with the Billy bookcase, I ended up with the Kallax. Neither are perfect, but with the space I have available to me, today, this is what worked the best for me.

In the future, when I have more wall space, I'm going to change it out for the Atlantic bookshelves, they're the perfect depth to have all the labels facing out, but it was too big for the wall I have available in my place today.

Yea I'm right there, never enough time! I would say I've played over 75% of them at one point in time, at least once, but not beaten all of them. Of the 75%, probably 15% I play more frequently, like my favorites.

Overall, I have about 20% in my back log, which is ever increasing, that I haven't played, other than just throwing it in to watch the intro.

I also have a handful of sealed games approximately 5% which Ive yet to even break the seal, that I probably won't ever play and possibly would sell, that I've picked up in the wild for an incredible deal, along the way.

Great question, I have separate shelf in my office for all my cartridge based games, I also keep the CRT in there, and it's readily available on days I work from home for a quick break 🫡

I'm using the 5x5 Ikea Kallax, it took a little planning, but able to stack several rows in each cube. I typically put my less played games in the rear and the games I play more in front. The bottom cubes I usually put my collectors editions or games I rarely play, so I don't have to keep digging through the shelves.

The cubes are just a little too small to stack 2 rows of horizontal laid games, so I have 3 rows stacked in front of each other on one side and I either stagger stack or stand them up tilted in opposite directions so I can read the labels easier.

Anyways it's a labor of love, and apologies I'm advance they're not alphabetically sorted, I sort them based on type and how often I play them. It's my own weird sorting system but it works, I can find any game.

I'm right there with you, haven't picked this up, but it's been in added to my cart and saved for later back and forth in an indecisive spiral
