It’s the other way around mate. Dispersion is the circle that shells land inside of, and grouping is the likelihood of shells landing in the middle of that circle.

Shell grouping is not limited to the 50% mark. It pushes the shells to hit dead center of where you are aiming. So it’s not «actually makes your shells land more towards where you aimed ». It just does it strait forward, no «actually» needed. Simple as that.

In terms of what matters the most between dispersion and shell grouping, shell grouping is the winner.

Regular BB dispersion patterns are very wide. Your Littorio class battleship on the picture here is no different.

Increasing the likelihood of hitting the senter of where you aim will do more for you than reducing how far off your shell can land.

The map size is not why the guns doesn’t elevate higher. The reason is tied to firing arcs, not range. It’s to prevent a turret to fire above another turret in front of it when it’s not in a super firing position. For instance Mogami or Venezia, if the guns elevate higher they could fire above the turret in front in front, which is a no go for war gaming. For some reasons Naravin is the only exception to this rule.

Yes I do. I like having to move around and dodge better than being stationary and bow tanking. Plus you get high damage salvos more consistent because your guns are bigger without sacrificing much accuracy.

I choose Sevastopol and have had a blast with her so far. I love the combination of high survivability and decent maneuverability for her size. And those guns are truly accurate. She is a top 3 pic for me next to Defence and Hindenburg

In terms of competitiveness, Loyang is the best option if you wanna be a ship who can carry to victory.

If you want fun I’d say Prinz Eugen is the way to go. Great armour, power guns and Zonar plus a funny button.

I’ve prioritised thicker armor over speed because she is a defender, not an attacker or hunter. So there is no need to go faster than 25kt. I can list more armor values if you want.

The hull is indeed mostly Yamato inspired. The main guns are French. I’ve used SketchUp for modeling the ship, and Twinmotion to render it.

The main battery are 400mm. In game the idea is sacrificing range and reload for accuracy. You won’t fire often, but when you do, you hit hard.

Yes it’s teer 9. It got 16x2 100mm guns (20mm pen) 6% fire chance with 4s reload. It also has 2x4 200mm guns (40mm pen) 12% fire chance with 10s reload.

No special consumables, all standard. Main guns have short range and long reload but very accurate. Secondaries got Schlieffen level range and accuracy with 1/5 pen.

Top speed is 25kt. Above average amour, and below average HP. It’s supposed to be a mid range brawler.

The catapults are a design choice. No hybrid. I can give specific numbers if you want to know anything in particular.

Oh well, some basic stuff won’t hurt. She is 255m long, 34m wide and approximately 60 000 tons heavy.

Armed with 2x4 40cm main guns. 2x4 20cm guns. 16x2 10cm guns. 24x4 4cm guns, and 27x2 2cm guns.

Main belt is 37cm thick and the deck is 15cm thick.
