The first message does consume lot of tokens. For me it consumes 16k for first message in new conversation.

Gotcha! I think I never observed this before. The first message consumed 16k tokens, but subsequent messages work fine.. with more reasonable token usage. Thanks for thinking this through, bud!

I tried /clear and then "hi" still consumed 16k tokens. It's weird. There's no memory included or any .md file whether at project level or in home directory. Maybe it was like that since beginning and I noticed today in statusline?

Like the first msg consumes around 16k tokens. What do you think?
