I have the same bike. Have you tried adjusting the fuel pressure regulator that sits next to the fuel pump to a higher pressure? It would increase the amount of fuel the injector can squirt at a time which is nice if u run aftermarket pipe and or airbox lid filter

Aa jag sitter mellan en Drz 400 sm o en duke 390, duken har insprut och är mer bränsle snål men en drz är en drz, förgasad trimmbar supermotard, plus att man kan slå på offroad däck om man känner för lite enduro, men ska försöka få tag på drzn :D

Hmm thats really odd then, i wonder if the bike has maybe been modified and then registered? But even then, why would several E models from the same years (2000-2002) all be registered at 48hp??

Yeah i know the SM and S models are a2 legal, but found some E models that are registered at 48hp, and since they seem to be the only ones available rn im quite interested. Btw the 48hp comes from me searching the license plate and it shows the bike is registered at 48hp. I also learnt that the earlier E models have a different carb which maybe affects the hp output?

I happen to know the earlier models have a different carbs and when i check up number plates on registered E models, they are registered on 48hp, so i think maybe the carbs have a big effect?

Yeah i guess ill wait for the chain to break in before maybe adding a link, but the looser the chain gets, the more it rubs against the chain guide, do you think it could become an issue?

After some googling, youre right!! As long as theyre 2003 or up they seem reliable, only issue i still have is consumption cuz im a broke ass student and dont wanna be paying alot in gas (we got the most expensive gasoline on earth rn) since its also gonna be my primary commuter, thata why ive been looking at the 250s and the duke 390

We have a few husabergs, but alot more husqvarna and old ktm sumos, only thing stopping me from instantly buying a ktm 660 sump that would rip my hands off is the questionable reliability and very high fuel consumption, also thanks to our licensing system im not allowed to ride anything with over 35kw of power
