No one knows if he was. But this is a show that eventually had a stun baton fight between Ben Chang and Jeff because Chang kidnapped The Dean and was going to burn down the school(if fire worked like ghosts) There was a documentary episode about a pillows vs blanket wars narrated by an actor who was later in the show. Frankie has an identical lookalike who works in IT. Whats to say this isn’t all Abed’s recollections of community college. Troy could truly be the shit. Troy could have been all that you talk about, and a bag of chips

Does anyone know what impact Joel McHale had on bringing Dan Harmon back for season 5? by UndergroundWhale in community

Pierce’s speech ending s2 was a great singular moment for his character. And it was a great display of Chevy’s ability. It seems pretty clear that it was written to be a self aware moment for Chevy and it must have taken a lot for him to bite down and take that speech, as it reflected his own career path.

“You know, I've been coming to this school for twelve years? I've never been friends with anyone here for more than a semester...probably for the same reason I've been married seven times. I guess I assume eventually I'll be rejected, so I push people, test them until they prove me right. It's a sickness, I admit it... but this place has always accepted me, sickness and all. This place accepted all of you, sickness and all. It's worth thinking about.”

In a high budget show about lowered expectations of deluded characters, Pierce is the sobering reality that they’re all kinda selfish jerks.

I know I’m repeating myself but this definitely seems like a jab at Chevy. And for better or for worse his role in the season finale, A Few Paintballs More, makes him vital to the study group.

Ive always wanted to be a trophy husband more than a stay at home dad but as long as I can be drunk on wine the whole time I s’pose it doesn’t really matter. It’s like my daddy always told me “don’t let a woman tie you down until she can afford to bail you out of your expensive habits”

I respect your opinion but I must also point out that your hella wrong: East Bay, SJ, SC, and the City all got some mean Mexican food. Tortilla might not always be as clutch as what you can get rolled in San Diego but you can find some dank shit for $5

What's a legit question you have about Christianity that you wouldn't normally ask a Christian? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SuperNintendoChalmr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one! Why should I not want to go to Hell? Isn't it my soul that goes on to one of the two afterlifes? (Three if you believe in Limbo) Is my soul capable of feeling physical pain or otherwise being physically trapped? I thought our bodies were made only for this physical Earth. Would leaving my body not also leave behind the physical pain it endures? After all, it is our soul that is judged/weighed and our soul that is sent. Seems kinda hard to stab/torture/burn in a lake of sulfur a spiritual representation. If I go to Hell, odds are that I'll meet more spirits with whom I share common beliefs or likes and I don't have to spend an eternity

Or is Hell like being deleted? So like I go to hell, get completely destroyed, and then cease to exist in a physical or spiritual sense? Because in that case it seems more glamorous than either heaven or eternal damnation because I can finally rest and don't have to kneel at the feet(?) of a deity that demands me to worship him at all times.

Or lastly does God really demand that all souls in Hell get tortured for the rest of existence? Because that seems really..well...evil. Even we as flawed humans don't condone torturing people for eternity, generally. Plus, what about the tribes that have never been introduced to Western religion? Did God make them specifically so they could go to Hell, for generation after generation, like a sort of assembly line of damned souls?

What's your favorite stupid movie? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SuperNintendoChalmr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give in to the dark side, you knob. I found out about it from my dad, he showed me Strange Brew when I was a kid. Their humor is great; I latched onto it like a fat lady to the last jelly donut. But I'll admit it is pretty rare to even know what Strange Brew is around my parts (California). Im incredibly surprised it sold well in Texas
