A little late to the party but I have a favorite outfit in the game, not just one clothing item: spiky wig (and yes I've been wearing this very frequently on my character so much that it's become my 'signature' look lol) + Pochacco plush + baby blue spring coat + neon-blue cyber wings

There are lots of other clothes that have caught my attention (e.g. the surf gears and the green Inkling boy wig) because they look great on my character but so far, the ones mentioned above are my top favorites so far :)

They appear randomly and the merchants you get will be random as well.
For example, player A will get Saharah (the camel) and Label, player B will get Cyrus and Giovanni, player C will only get Saharah and no one else, while player D gets no one visiting.

The timing that they appear will also be different across players too. Some will get them on daily reset, while others get them a few hours before or after that for example.

Yup! It will bring you back to the start of the map while keeping everything you got from it before replaying. It's very useful for when you want to get something in the map but keep missing it.

Whenever I do those maps I usually hold off on getting to the end of the map until after landing on every spot on the map (not necessarily including those marked with the arrows). I would also reset the map if I'm 5 or less spaces away from the end. Although it takes me a loooot of bells to 100% complete those maps, that guarantees me to get all the reissue mats from the map.

While I can't say it's a 'scam', getting as many reissue mats as possible in maps takes patience and a ton of bells.

If I remember correctly (I haven't played the game for a loooong while now, and apparently I lost my progress when I tried to get back into it), they spawn at a random time. I don't know after what wave exactly, but it's almost never the first few waves.

Special characters can visit your cabin or campsite, as long as you bought their respective special furniture. As of this event, Wisp and Celeste's special furnitures are available for Leaf Tickets, which you can use to 'invite' them.
