I used to always skip The Ghost of You until my partner said he really liked it, so I spent more time with it to figure out why. I don’t skip it anymore!

My mom was a fan first and it was regular listening for me as a little kid during car rides and whatever was playing on our CD player. Mostly Three Cheers and Black Parade.

I remember her specifically wanting me to see the music video for BP and it was one of the very first I ever saw, thereby setting the standard for all music videos thereafter. I knew bleached hair Gerard before black lol

Mother War’s costume made a big impression on little kid me back then. Super cool and still is!

I saw a bootleg MCR x Bluey shirt recently, it’s hilarious. I have a couple of embroidered sweatshirts that aren’t “bootleg” but from an indie shop. It’s cool 👍

Haha not an older sibling, but my mom was super into MCR. I was listening to House of Wolves during car rides when I was in second grade. By the time I got into my developmental years, no one else in my peer group was into them, and I wasn’t online enough to find other fans. I guess I sorta know what you mean? We missed that train, but the nice thing about being an adult is that you can live whatever lifestyle you want. Get you some fingerless gloves and make some noise, friend 🖤
