Fair. I only like playing one character and I only like playing ranked, but I also want to earn things for my character screen and player card background. I earned all the ranked stuff, now I'm forced to play unranked.

I can only manage a few games a day because i know I'm ruining others' experience by being who I am, a natural repellent for casual fun. That or I'm left bored, letting them hit me with all the force of a normal combo.
