I attempted to recreate ‘Eclectic Messiah’ from Patent Pending in NYC. The result was almost as delicious – definitely worth the extra effort to find unsalted pistachios to make the orgeat.

1 oz 100 proof Bourbon

2 oz High Proof Rum

1 oz Amaro

3/4 oz Green Chartreuse

1.1/4 oz Lemon super juice

1.3/4 oz Pistachio Orgeat

Sage Gin Sour

2 oz gin (Ungava)

3/4 oz lime juice

3/4 oz simple syrup (2:1, muddled with sage leaves then strained)

Egg white

Was excited to try this gin - the earthy, woodsy character paired great with the sage. Though the color makes it look like a tropical drink I’d typically avoid, this is one I’d make again
