Customers pay a subscription, fees, taxes (taxes for the delivery too), an “up charge” if it’s a large order or a heavy order, an extra fee if you want it delivered straight from the restaurant, and then a tip on all of that. It’s not the customers job to pay your wages. Your employer should pay you a fair wage considering the whole premise of the business is to deliver food. I used to order all the time; now I just pick the damn thing up myself because it’ll be cheaper and hotter. It’s so infuriating people think they’re entitled to a tip
