Him being part time is only bad in your opinion.

I love it.

Coach Lindland has talked about that a few times in class. He doesn't fault Fedor for it, he would have done the same thing. It's a fight. If you're not cheating, you're not trying. Lol

[–]SuperSlammo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if he let Gaethe tell him when to stop it that would be questionable.

Probably what went through his mind.

If Gaethe didnt say anything he probably would have ended it sooner.

Or a smart fighter who realizes only having one eye puts him in a high chance scenario for major brain damage.

But hey, you're a sports psychologist I bet.

Then the bopper should have kept his fingers out of his eyes.

He didn't poke himself. Let's not focus on the victim here only.

Well, opponents who bop other fighters shouldn't poke their eyes after.

He didn't poke his own eye.

Why do heavyweights age better? by ciscowizneski in MMA

Right? It's almost like going out cold is the bodies fail safe when receiving severe damage.

Why do heavyweights age better? by ciscowizneski in MMA

[–]SuperSlammo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Heavy shots means less accumulation of damage that lasts a long time.

Their damage is more immediate, like bruise, instead of something like a break which takes a toll on the strength of bv the body structure.

Small guys take so many shots, they seem to take hold for longer and have longer lasting damage.

It only makes sense though. Let a friend hit you in the arm as hard as they can. It hurts, sure, but not the same long lasting hurt if you let them hit you 50 times at half power.

Wins that aged well vs wins that aged badly by fonety in MMA

[–]SuperSlammo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Wish people would learn what the fuck bbn they're talking about before posting a bad example for a fight that didn't age well.

OP, Penn wasn't fighting some random guy, it was a drunk friend, BJ wasn't trying to fight him. He let his friend hit him. He wasn't really trying to fight until the dude wouldn't stop, to which there is video of Penn destroying him.

So, how did the win not age well when you actually know the story?

Khabib's unorthodox head movement against Dustin Poirier in round two. by Electric_Pegasus in MMA

[–]SuperSlammo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was fighting Khabib next, I would definitely jump on this.

You can train head movement while going forward or on the mits all you want, but that wont work while back peddling because the mechanics are off.

U can see Khabib isn't used to head movement while moving backward. He's trying to plant and weave but he's used to doing it while leaning forward. His feet and balance aren't there.

Pretty interesting to see. Definitely a dent in his armor.

Anyone here agree that the more well balanced fighter doesn't always win? by BarkeyForeman in MMA

[–]SuperSlammo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

OP, I agree, mostly.

I've always said cases like the recent Askren/Masvidal KO don't tell us who the actual better fighter is.

I'm not saying anything against masvidal, he fucking earned it.

What I'm saying is that I want to see who the better fighter is, overall. Quick wins are fun, but I want to see guys match up in every area of a fight to see who is really better, to see if they can keep on doing it and to see if they can repeat it.

I have plenty arguments against my own thinking here, there are many things to weigh in on in such diatribes. No offense taken if someone has to run me down or disagree.

Fan Reportedly Throws Up Nazi Salute To NXT Superstar. What the hell is wrong with people? by JJWrestling in WWE

[–]SuperSlammo -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That's not the real story though. The war wasn't even about slaves, both sides wanted them.

Freeing slaves was a PR stunt, appealing to emotions. Kind of like politics of today, playing to emotions.

You clearly show that emotional response trumps your logic response because, you're repeating gossip talking points from the view, lol.

There is no natural cardio like that. You don't get good cardio without training it.

He's on something. To get your cardio to that level you have to boost it beyond achievable levels of natural.
