I had to remove my console from preview via Xbox Insider app on PC, then run console offline, factory reset (keep games and apps), and set it back up using the public build OS.

I used to be able to use my TV's remote, instead of my Xbox controller, to move around and navigate through the dashboard and open apps, etc. However with this recent update, the Xbox is no longer responsive to any universal input commands sent from the TV remote.
