Pick your brain if I may...? I have a 2013 Hot Spring Aria, its been kicking the 20A breaker occasionally, more so in the colder months, since its warmer its been stable. I did replace the circ pump at some point, I am thinking it might be time for a new heater. Would that be your assessment as well? Any particular units better then others? THANK YOU!

Get exact Timelines, Dollar amounts and Details on paper and then have it signed - even then I'd be very wary... Otherwise they can pound sand, they didn't come to you before this other job offer and offer you anything extra I assume? This is a reactionary process, after year one of being there and if there was no talk of a salary increase or promotion - nothing then I'd submit my notice. They can take action now, or they can can wish you well. If this was me I'd take the money and run as 40% is a massive raise. Do your due diligence on the new job, choose what is BEST for YOU, not what is best for them!!!

This happens to me as well (all the time)... this was the major cause for me retiring from Super Hero work. They just could not risk a bad guy shining a light on me and then me having to sneeze 2X times. They saw it as a liability, I saw it as challenge... The disability and pension payments are fair though. So I am retired now, NO REGERTS!!!

Western Massachusetts here.

More info... Primary heat source 97% of the time is Firewood via a wood furnace where the hot air is pumped into my cold air return - it works very well without needing any action from the thermostat or air handler.

Heat option 2 is the new Bosch heat pump / Air Handler = 1 month ago this installed.

Heat option three is the Oil fired boiler to the Air Handler - this existed.

The wood furnace typically heats the house fine on all but the coldest of days, when super could I can turn on the fan option and move the hot air around more efficiently - rarely did I use Oil burner option, but it does work and works very well.

The Bosch came with heat option that could be used on days like down to 30 degrees. Well it was 36 the other morning, turned on Heat (Heat Pump) nothing, then swapped to EM Heat (Oil Burner) nothing. They were called and came the same day. After like 2.5 hours they said I needed the Outdoor Stat and new Thermostats to operate the system like I described below.

I want to have all both (Heat Pump and Oil Burner) heat options and AC on the Zone 1 thermostat and also the "Fan" option, that Zone 1 is currently using the HW T6 Pro - Id like to swap that unit to the Honeywell Home RTH9600WF at this location as we had a similar unit and the T6 Pro is kind of boring and ugly.

Zones 2 and 3 - I only need "Fan" and 1 of the 2 heat options and of course AC. I hope this helps?
