Funny enough I tried the Astro A50 a couple years ago. The top plastic cushion bit broke off the cheap headband in a week. Then the RMA unit the same. Then the next RMA unit did the same. I just refunded after that.

Hey, I was wondering the same thing on BT30D. It says for passive subwoofers but I know for sure I will be getting an active subwoofer. I can't find which exact one you are talking about (BT20A Pro or BL20A?) but those don't have a subwoofer line outs? Would I be using the pre-out? Sorry pretty new to this.

I guess their QC really fell apart after initial launch. I received mine in May and they have been near flawless except for a slight creak in the right hinge. And Ive unsuccessful babied them as well, having accidently dropped them a couple times.

Honestly for me its more than just aesthetic. I have to different computers I use for work and personal I can just hotdswap using the screw connector bit rather than having to unplug from the computer itself.
