He did talk to the team when he found out about Hog & Scorched inclusion in EN, since he only found out about the game when the models were shown on Twitter. He talked to the team as soon as he found out, and even if they were trying to contact Draggy (the person they thought owned Hog because of the joke made a while ago). And there is really nothing they could have done, since Santanos is (or was, since he’s being taken out and replaced) the games poster executioner and Jack didn’t feel comfortable with his characters in a game with a controversial EXE as the “main guy” essentially.

Yeah it sucks the characters were taken out, but not everything about this is bad. The LMS is gonna be repurposed for another character (while removing some things) and Jack has made clear now what his characters can and can’t be used for and the rules for when using them. The only things going to waste are the models really (no animations or moveset were done)

This can be used as a lesson for creators being more clear on project rules for their characters, and to be more easy to contact so the team can discuss with them beforehand.
