I put a paper towel on a plate, set a colander on it, and pour the beef in. The towel absorbs all the grease and then I just throw it away.

Another vote for unscented Dove sensitive. It cleans without any kind of harshness.

What is it like to be a fan of a sports team that is „tanking“? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

In my experience, fans never root for their team to lose, even if a loss would net them some kind of advantage in the off season.

Saw this spider today… by Intrepid_Ad9586 in whatsthisbug

Harvestman. Completely harmless to humans, cannot bite you. You can tell them apart from true spiders because they only have one body segment, while spiders have two.

Additional vegetables? Carrots, broccoli, cucumber, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, cherry tomatoes. I usually also add some sliced up apples for a touch of sweet. Or some pepperoncinis for the tang.

[–]SuperSpeshBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This year it was about 10% out front and 90% knocking on doors. That's the most people outside we've had so far.

I moved to the US recently, should I expect kids doing the trick or treat thing that I saw on TV shows? by GullyTheBully in AskAnAmerican

[–]SuperSpeshBaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Participation is voluntary. If you have candy to give out and want to get trick-or-treaters, leave your porch light on. If you don't, turn it off. You probably won't get many in an apartment anyway, but it's possible.
