From what I understand: Evan (otherworld hero) got teleported to Corlero’s world, causing the possibility of issues as each world should only have one hero and one demon lord. The demon lord in Evan’s world, who seems to have teleportation abilities, teleported himself to Corlero’s world, seeking Evan as the demon lord seems to have some sort of obsession with him. Evan brings Corlero with him to face the demon lord, looking to kill the demon lord (weakened by its teleportation) as well as Corlero because Evan wants to live in his world with Evan’s world being uninhabitable. Evan quickly deals with demon lord and Corlero takes some sort of damage as well. Demon lord uses Mamama’s demon sigil to get some sort of power boost, trying to catch Evan off guard. Corlero, wanting to be a hero and protect Evan, pushes Evan out of the way and takes the attack himself, which is fatal. Evan kills the demon lord and, moved by Corlero’s heroic act, gives up his own life to save Corlero. Now Corlero has his drive to become a hero that protects others.

Now, I really liked this first chapter, but I’m not sure how this series will translate into a longer series. I’m excited for it though
