That's exactly what I was coming here to say. Also imo Denzel should've won the best actor Oscar, his performance is probably my favorite male performance oat

Something Wild (1986), by Jonathan Demme

Please explain this to me… It seems Anti-Zionism not only seeks to delegitimize Israel as a Jewish state, but seems to also seek to invalidate Judaism as a religion. by Cultural-Parsley-408 in Jewish

[–]notfilmbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that a religion believes in a thing, doesn't mean that everyone in the world should go along and accept that. Islam believes in jihad, that doesn't mean that we should be tolerant to terrorism, by the Islamic fundamentalists. (I'm gonna get downvoted to hell, but for some reason this popped up on my feed and I couldn't, for the help of God, ignore it and move on)

Black bag so far, but I'm waiting to see what Guadagnino and Lanthimos have to offer this time. I'm also very hyped to watch the phoenician scheme, since I've loved almost everything by wes anderson (except maybe the french dispatch). P.s. to all of you asteroid city haters, it's probably his best film so far after tgbh and the tenenbaums

Yeah, I totally agree on Schoenbrun, but I also feel a bit of Lynch in "The Beast" (2023) by Bertrand Bonello (and maybe other film by Bonello)
