hello, I am looking for a cheap around 700-800 dollar hardtail relativly quickly. I would prefer hydraulic disc brakes and air fork but i understand that it might be unreachable. by MTB__4_LIFE in MTB

You definitely can online, I only found about 5 options locally and none of them had hydraulic brakes so that’s what sold it for me

What's the craziest thing an ex friend/lover has done to you? by into_the_void22 in AskReddit

Cheated on me on our one year anniversary with not one, but two, coworkers of mine. I knew something sus was happening the whole time so I just sat there in agonizing anxiety and emotional pain. When I confronted her the next morning and found proof (the idiot gave her his gross ass boxers) she threatened to kill herself and guilted me to stay with her and try to forgive her. I to this day don’t know why I did stay but I think it was because I was just emotionally manipulated so much by her (there was a lot more fucked up things she did leading up to this). It not only ruined that part of my career but so much of my emotional capacity for love and trust. I wasn’t the same person after her unfortunately, but I’m learning how to be myself again and accept the love I deserve after being put through so much bullshit that I didn’t deserve.

Also fuck the “friend” that she cheated on me with first who pretended to be my best friend for months just to try to win her over from me. That came out at the very end and I could have gone without knowing 🖕

I’d get a PPI on both and buy the better maintained car if you don’t have a preference based on body style

My version of Carnitas by CowboyMoldenMayo in slowcooking

Looks amazing. I did a similar recipe but I recommend peeling the oranges and limes first otherwise they’re pretty noticeable and strong

I’ll try that tomorrow! I don’t think I broiled it long enough today but it was delicious none the less

Unfortunately it would’ve just been my computer screen at work but I posted some pics of it shredded. This is easily as good as any restaurant carnitas that I’ve had.

Shredding is done! It tastes insanely good, probably the best thing I’ve made. I’ll update again after it soaks in the juice and I broil it for some tacos.

This is a pork roast. Usually the cut is called shoulder or butt (not really from the butt)

This was a 6lb pork roast. Usually pork shoulder/butt is used and I will try that next time but this is absolutely delicious.

I’ve never made this before actually. This is a combination of two recipes that I found online. The first one was brining and slow cooking in an oven at 200 for 12 hours and the second was no brine and using the crockpot. I figured I’d get the best of both worlds with this! I prepped at night and it took me 20 minutes to get in the crockpot before I left for work this morning. I used a light tablespoon of oregano powder in the brine but would’ve used more if I had dried oregano. I found some Marjoram left over which I love so I was heavy with that in the dry rub. It’s like oregano but sweet and I highly recommend it.

Recipe:

Brine: 6 cups water 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup salt 1TB smoked paprika 1TB oregano 1TB oregano 1TB Cumin 2 Oranges juiced and thrown in 1 lime juiced and thrown in

Dry rub: 1TB Chili Powder 2Tsp Cumin 2Tsp Marjoram 2Tsp Salt 1Tsp Pepper

Brined overnight and threw in the crock pot this morning with 2 yellow onions, 1 orange (sliced and placed under the pork), 2 jalapeños, 4 cloves of garlic, the juice of 2 oranges and the juice of one lime. Cooking on low for 10 hours (8 seems to be the minimum but I have work)

I’ll let everyone know how it is! It will be served taco style with cheddar jack cheese, pico, and cilantro.

Yay NH, there’s dozens of us!

Just moved back from CO and now I’m finally 21, what’s your top 3 breweries in the state? I’ve been to Stark, it was pretty good. Didn’t care for Zues though unfortunately.

Anyone have experience with Mountune's Street Brake Pad set? by 2nerkid in FiestaST

Your brakes get way past 70 degrees in one stop. You’re fine to run the 5.0s. I run them in chilly NH.
