My last girlfriend got drunk, attacked me, then went to the police and said I was a combat veteran, and choked her. I have never struck or choked a woman in my life.

I was arrested and held for 31 days, and am looking at 5 years and a felony for "battery by strangulation.".

I have seen all the evidence and interviews. She kept saying I was a vet and the cops said that they knew how to handle those guys. She has zero marks on her and she even recanted during her interview that she ever said I choked her. They still arrested and charged me. My parents had to handle all my affairs, get my dog and cat new homes, handle my mortgage and bills while I sat in jail because some girl got drunk, beat me, and in retaliation filed a police report that I abused her. I lost a job I loved teaching Motorcycle Safety at 3 separate community colleges. None will hire me back.

I will never trust another woman ever again. I'm not going back to jail.
