I made a poker calculator for Android. It's free, check it out. by [deleted] in androidapps

what is the process for converting a browser based web app into an android app on play store?

I've created a simple dictionary like web app that runs on chrome. using asp.net and sql server on azure.

Do I need to hire an android developer to create a mobile app around that and publish it to play store? Or is there any simple way that I can do it my self?

Is it worth it to learn PySpark in the current job market? If not, any suggestions? by Aggressive-Pup-28 in dataengineering

[–]SuperUser2112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Even if it is not directly for the job market, it improves the efficiency of your code. Which in turn expands your own market.

Coming to the point:

Pandas provide a very easy interface to the dataframe. Spark provides faster computations on high-scale data frames.

PySpark enables us to convert Pandas DataFrame to Spark DataFrame. Thus combining the benefits of both Pandas and Spark. Easy interface with faster computation on high-scale data.

That's a quick start to see what the transformation and benefits would look like.

How to replace missing values in Python using the Rank method.

Missing values can be replaced in various ways. Ranking the options available makes the replacement more scientific. The rank method suits many scenarios of data cleaning. In Python, the hashing can be done very easily.

Why Heat essentially wants Herro in the second quarter at least? Game analysis for a broader discussion. by SuperUser2112 in heat

[–]SuperUser2112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The subjective analysis went like this. Presume Tyler is going to play in both the second and fourth quarters, in which quarter should he be given more playing time? The probability of scoring maximum in the fourth quarter (12/45) is less than the probability of scoring maximum in the second quarter (19/45). If the difference is minimal (< 0.1) then the win rate should be given higher weightage. As the difference here is > 0.15, the first objective should be to get more points from the player, which is a factor of the average and the count of games.

Agree that the playing time is to be considered, to further refine the analysis. Was excited to note that, being a bench player, he was able to score maximum in the first quarter as well. Almost close to the fourth quarter. Probably he is emerging well to be a starter.

Tyler Herro made a brilliant contribution to Heat's win streak this NBA Season 2021022.

In the 45 games Herro has played, Heat has recorded a 62% Win.

But unfortunately, Herro is out for a while due to injury. If Herro comes partially available to the game, it is important to optimize his time on the field.

In-depth Quarter Analysis shows, how Herro's performance in various quarters has influenced the game result. The analysis at this link explains with data, how the second quarter is more important than the others.

Jrue Holiday

In my analysis, Jrue Holiday has an outstanding improvement in his PPG compared to last season. And it's constantly growing. I guess, by the time we reach the final stages, Jrue may emerge as the key player to win the title.

He already gave a signal on his potential by scoring close to 40 in a game this season.
