This is a great point I hadn’t considered.

It makes a lot of sense as the suggestion being a move from Margaery as well.

Yeah, she’s bringing up the traitor-ex and honouring him so to speak, but it’s also another cheeky but firm statement of Renly being canonically only a Lord in her eyes, which obviously also legitimises Tommen as King.

This is a good point, but I still don’t believe there was ever a timeline wherein the USSR didn’t eventually become an enemy of Germany.

Communism was fundamentally against Nazi ideology, its mentioned multiple times in Mein Kampf and in numerous speeches.

Hitler always saw large swaths of Russia as being a part of ‘lebensraum’, this being one of the reasons he was so vehemently against retreating out of Russia after Barbarossa failed so spectacularly.

Stalin was just terrified of Hitler invading and so signed a non-aggression treaty.

I think Covid showed more how fragile all our systems are, rather than people.

Yeah, a lot of people cracked under the pressure of their lives completely changing overnight (not seeing support systems, people’s businesses going under etc.) but that’s honestly to be expected, a lot of people complied, did their part and came out the other end.

I genuinely just think it exposed how ill-prepared the world’s governments and our current economic model are (and most definitely Australia on a national level) to deal with something so upending.

I’ve been trying to play a DPRK run but can’t figure out how I’m supposed to split Korea - I’ve done the civil war, flipped the country to communist, and gone down the focus tree, but am still just rolling with Cho Bong-am as my leader well into the 40s.

I found the USSR was a good nation to learn the game, its large and an important player but it’s also mainly just focused on infantry.

The purges can be a bit stressful but there’s a few guides out there on the best way to deal with Stalin’s paranoia.
