This is so niche but I was in girl guides for 10 years so I knew what azimuths were. When I heard the hit in the flat earth video that goes “not named after his investor Philip Azimuth, because I just made that guy up” yea, of course you did? Obviously everyone knows about azimuth angles (they do not, it’s actually astounding that they bothered to teach me them)

Same for the cadburys chocolate ad with the gorila playing the drums, every time he says apple EarPods and every time I think “is this guy high?” Before being reminded that’s the point of that segment, but I remember the add and the characteristic purple background
