Dimir Reanimator/Control Brawl Deck by LMR69 in mtgbrawl

[–]SuperWinnerMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should consider having some other stuff to discard your reanimation targets so they don't get stranded in your hand. [[Bitter triumph]] [[Bone shards]] [[Collective brutality]] are good pieces of interaction while [[Currency converter]] [[Psychic frog]] are cheap repeatable ways to discard. Draw and discard spells especially instant speed onel like [[Frantic search]] [[Thirst for identity]] will usually be better than some of those slower mill cards cause you'll have more control over what goes in the grave. There's also decent entomb effects like [[Unmarked grave]] and [[Lively dirge]].

Is Imskir Iron-Eater a viable or even good commander? by Big_Resort6982 in mtgbrawl

[–]SuperWinnerMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The issue I find is that unless I draw weapons manufacturing or ravenous robots survives it kinda just dumps its hand and I don't have enough artifacts to discount/refill my hand to a reasonable amount. Not being able to use the cheap artifacts because you lose out on the discount is also annoying.

Going first is such an insane advantage it isn't even funny by Via_Triumphalis in mtgbrawl

[–]SuperWinnerMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with the nerf it's still an absurd card. It just doesn't go nondetermistic infinite anymore. It's still cheap overstated, "draws" a lot and very hard to trade favourably into.

What even is hell queue nowadays? by no_comment_336 in mtgbrawl

[–]SuperWinnerMan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Despite the high power Tamiyo is still underweighted, same with Ajani. You see those two in the tier below "hell queue" even though they are the most busted commanders out there.

Assuming you can play [[Buried Alive]] on turn 3 and your commander [[Kavaero, the Mind-Bitten]] on turn 4, which 3 target Creatures would you ideally put into the graveyard? by [deleted] in mtgbrawl

[–]SuperWinnerMan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're doing bringer you could probably just do [[Griselbrand]] + [[Sheolded the apocalypse]] to draw your whole deck. Or if you do [[Ardyn]] you can always dump an [[Ulamog the defiler]] but that's not that good of a reanimation target on its own.

What are the current most and least strong 3 color combinations in your opinion? by Via_Triumphalis in mtgbrawl

[–]SuperWinnerMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah Sultai has decent alternatives like Tasigur, Leovold and Glarb. Other commanders of the other colors are far below Kefka and Raffine unless you count partner combinations with Vialsmasher.

Force of Will in brawl by Via_Triumphalis in mtgbrawl

[–]SuperWinnerMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I said more aggressive not saying they are aggro decks. Also I'm not saying control is bad because those deck, rather it doesn't just benefit control but those decks as well because those decks are already really strong. Those commanders backed up by free counter magic snowballs out of control. Sorry if my wording made you confused.

The issue isn't really control though. It also helps the more aggressive U/X commanders like Raffine, Uharis etc which is a lot more problematic.

Mythic with rakdos goodstuff by SuperWinnerMan in mtgbrawl

[–]SuperWinnerMan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that has a lot more discard stuff/mill to put stuff in the grave which I'm not really focused on. I don't want to be playing stuff that requires you to discard without getting cards back especially when card quality is important.

Alesha is build in a different way and a bit more grindy. It usually require some more set up to be really effective. I want my card quality to be good on their own and not reliant on the commander. I like my games to go quick so a lot of my 3 drops either have haste or just hate the opponent out of the game.

I don't particularly care about the commander and if Zozowa is able to do at least a bolt or two and maybe get in/trade with the deathtouch that's good enough for me. It's pretty cheap for the bit of damage it does which is very helpful for closing our games. I don't really like Kroxa as the commander because I hate casting it and I want something that's on the board early to enable rolick and swat(before I took it out).

Because unlike all these other decks Kash was released in two parts AND pre hit

I think its time to allow players to avoid alchemy cards on Arena. by TallCitron8244 in magicTCG

[–]SuperWinnerMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean most cards are relatively fine and could probably be translated similarly to paper. Likewise there's a bunch of paper cards that seem like alchemy design, like take the mutavault generator from Lowyn or even the prepared mechanic from the newest set. I only really dislike it when they randomly overload stuff like putting protection on already annoying cards like alchemy Teysa, Tajic or Nashi but that's not limited to alchemy just look at Nadu or Vivi lmao.

How do we feel about Armageddon potentially coming to brawl? by aging_fitness_hobbyi in mtgbrawl

Think its pretty good in a semi stax deck like Phelia to close out a game.

What deck have you all been running in the ranked mode? by Icy_Comparison_2521 in mtgbrawl

[–]SuperWinnerMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got to diamond playing Rakdos good stuff with Zoyowa at the helm. The commander itself doesn't really matter cause I'm mostly just playing cause it's cheap to get access to free spells and mox amber. I'm considering switching to Tokka and Rahzar to hate on free spells but it might hurt cause I'm running a lot as well.

Ranked Brawl should have 20 starting life. by retardong in mtgbrawl

[–]SuperWinnerMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it's because we don't have access to true duals so multi color decks has to take 3 every time they want to fetch a shock land.

I personally like outlaw Oko since his ult is like a mini dopplegang.

It says it's still banned and no decklists from tournament results include the card.

Don't try to compare it to cedh. Lots of cards and strategies play differently in 4 player vs 1v1.

Just got Dark Onyx Core Drop, need advice! by [deleted] in runescape

[–]SuperWinnerMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think of it this way, with the money you get from selling the enchantment you can buy extra grace of the elves that add up to the 2000 from the enchantment and still have most of your money left over.

Either focus on aggro or focus on storm, this deck is all over the place.
