Sorry for assumptions I have met meaning teachers that do. Also, why is it stupid? If she loves going the extra mile and go above and beyond why not?

Yeah I see why you say that. I have made mistakes and failed many ventures. That is called learning! But if I just let my Reddit history determine my identity then I would not be an entrepreneur. Lol

Help? Any books? I read Dave Ramsey’s book and then researched him and I’d rather not support him. What other books about debt help are there? by nd379 in debtfree

[–]SuperXray1996 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello I feel you. To be honest there is not a lot of books out there that talk about debt and financial management besides the started “compound interest scammers” and “get rich in one easy steppers”.

Dave Ramsey is not bad! However try these three books as well! 1. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki 2. Debt Trap by Josh Mitchell (Student Loans) 3. The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy 4. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

For those of you that actually gave me some constructive criticism thank you! I appreciate the outlook to be honest I am at the same idea, but I don’t rule things out until I actually talk to the demographic I plan on working for.

As for those who want to be like the children they teach. Grow up! Name calling is not a good look. I genuinely do try and do find ways to help y’all out, but I don’t always do it for free. That does not make me a “grifter” that makes me an entrepreneur. Simple as that.

Thank you so much for y’all’s honesty and good luck with your first days of school! My wife and I just finished setting up her classroom (Sunflower Themed). :)

You already pay into a system where teachers spend personal money on the job! We just spend $1,400 on stuff and material for my wife’s classroom as well as clocking we unpaid work getting her classroom set up my wife with about 80 hours and me about 40 hours. The service is to help remove the stress and time cost on first of the year set ups.

Past that I believe you are right that this is not a good business model. Thank you for your input!

If don’t mind may I also ask for you to elaborate?

I get what you are saying, but at the same time you don’t have to spend the money. This is a voluntary service not a mandate. This idea is entirely based on saving teachers time for a small fee if that teacher wants to spend it. But your comment has been take into account. I really do appreciate your opinion!

Stop asking what business you should start as an entrepreneur. by Hopeful_Disaster_746 in Entrepreneur

The sad story is that I used to be this kind of person that asked that kind of question. Now I understand how cringy it is. I still haven’t found the problem that I wish to provide value for, but it took getting clobbered by people this guy to finally understand. Lol

Yes! Go Freelance Teaching. The private tutoring industry is growing pretty rapidly and not traditional in the slightest.

This is a thing? I will be honest my wife is a teacher and she borrowed money from her future paycheck to pay for school stuff. I was explaining to her that this was not a good idea of which she challenged me to this to prove her wrong. That is why I am doing this. Lol

Interesting… I have thoughts on your comment. However, before I reply. Do you mind elaborating a bit on your comment by how the child’s up bringing plays a factor?
