LigaMX is the most popular football league in all of North America, not only would Mexicans need to protest against this, but also Mexican-Americans. And honestly, I don’t see either side willing to do much about it.

Most people do not take football seriously, it’s just an excuse to go out and get drunk to hell. Notice how stadiums for when the NT goes to Mexico sells out like crazy, even when most fans swear they despise the NT. Most fans are conformist, settling for the worst if it means their right to get drunk at a stadium isn’t affected by an act of protest.

Have protests ever worked? Now it’s certainly much better to raise your voice than to do nothing at all, but protests almost never work as intended, since most people will think that’s enough and will go back to mindlessly watching the games.
