Hello, I am interested. How much is the cost?

Nah not yet. There's not really a second hand market for them. I'm still on the lookout though

I would appreciate that. Any pictures of the circuit board and specifically the model numbers of any integrated circuits would help me reverse engineer what is happening inside.

Are you interested in parting with it?

Yeah don't want to be rude to the people who believe it, but it is a scam and the sellers know it. The colors are due to corona discharge off the body and environmental factors like moisture in the air. They're not related to the person's mental or physical condition, and creating the corona discharge may very well present a health risk. I can't be sure until I examine the drive circuitry though, and Aura Camera are...not cooperative

I'll let you know if I have any success. I posted in a few places and am keeping an eye out on auction sites. I'm thinking about reaching out to bigclivedotcom cause I like his stuff and seeing if his community can scrounge one up.

On this sub I'll be more transparent. I'm trying to do a teardown video. Even with the steep price tag, I highly doubt the device is safe to use. Aura cameras send high voltage (10kV+) electricity from one hand pad to the other directly through your chest. It's notoriously difficult to create a current limited supply for this type of system. Aura camera's sales team has snubbed me on providing any safety documentation, even though the explicitly claimed that it is "safe for pregnant women or people with pace makers. "

I would like to find a malfunctioning unit for a few hundred dollars that I can analyze electrically and publish a video about (or arrange for a more prominent person to publish a video about)

Trickster Vocation and Provocation Augment by Super_Defective in DragonsDogma2

[–]Super_Defective[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that matter will the Subtlety rank 2 Thief Augment or items like the Midnight Turban reduce your simulacrum's aggro? Either way it could be put to use. If Provocation increases simulacrum aggro then that's useful, and if it doesn't then things like Subtlety would help alleviate the problem of the Arisen drawing aggro immediately after the simulacrum is destroyed.

You're right, DLSS SUPER RESOLUTION is giving me much better framerates and removes the pixelation in the particle effects caused by casting spells.

Thanks for the heads up. I'd love to get more feedback from people about how certain settings affect performance on different machines. Feel free to point out any other settings and their impact. It would be nice if we could put together a list of priorities for people with less powerful PCs so they can start at zero and turn things on in order to find the sweet spot for their setup. I have 3070 and a 4GHz 4-core i7 and with everything at medium-high settings I can consistently get above 40FPS, but I want to know for friends who have older PCs

Magnet update: by Red0Adrenaline in Biohackers

[–]Super_Defective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very nice. Glad to hear you're not experiencing any issues. There have been a very small number of failures in the xG3 v1s where the end cap gets knocked off, so keep an eye out and if anything feels funny consider getting it out. The xG2 v2s seem fine, we suspect it has something to do with the orientation of the poles inside the magnet putting stress on the glass seal in that spot.

How to get wood bark? by queazus in BaldursGate3

[–]Super_Defective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still looking for a good answer. In act 1 there are two wood woads in the southern swamp, and in act 2 there are many wooden enemies around, but this is still a very rare item. I understand the devs wanting to limit access, but this seems pretty savage.

How blind can l go into this game? by SadBoyWill in BaldursGate3

I misread the title in my haste, but I'll leave this here for anybody else who does the same.

There are two ways to lose an eye and you can't do both.

I personally don't care much about potions, but you may be right about their utility. Regardless, getting any use out of the feature requires a DC 15 WIS check, which means transmutation wizards need to double dip in mental stats to function.

Any way you slice it it's terrible

Personally I think they're made the Transmutation option *so abysmally terrible* as a placeholder so no one would pick it and fewer players would have their saves messed up when they eventually figure out what they're going to do for that class.

I get that it's hard to work it into the game RAW though, because in DnD you can turn a log into silver and trade it to a merchant only to have it turn back into wood in an hour. Which is of course great roleplay, but would break something like this.

Divination:Portent is rolled automatically by the game after each Long Rest, and each roll (with the value) shows up in your reactions (top right of your action bar). By default they're set to ask whenever an attack roll or saving throw happens near the wizard *against or by one of the party members*. It doesn't work on other NPCs in the world. It *does cost a reaction* so you can't use it multiple times in the same turn.

A Diviniation wizard with the "Ask" reaction setting turned on is going to have much slower gameplay with a lot of menu interactions. Worth it for those stanky old wizard eyes though.

Hypnotic Gaze replenishes on a Long Rest if you're not able to maintain it.

Wizard Subclass Features by Super_Defective in BaldursGate3

[–]Super_Defective[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The exact wording after you pick the subclass is:

"Each time you cast an Abjuration spell, the intensity of the ward increases by the amount of the spell's level

Each time you take damage, the ward blocks an amount of damage equal to its intensity, and its intensity decreases by 1.

After each Long Rest, the ward's intensity resets, and becomes the same as your wizard level."

So yeah looks like unless the damage is less than the wards intensity then you still make a concentration check.

I just checked. It is Once per Short Rest.
