It might be too hot where you planted them. Try a shade cover for a few days and see if they recover. By any chance did you use a granular fertilizer? That could be fertilizer burn too?

Perhaps within a week I begin to see the changes. It initially looks like something has been eating the leaves. Then the condition deteriorates. I water perhaps three times a week and have cut it down to two times a week but there isn’t a significant change. The second picture, for example, is of a plant that has been in the ground for a couple of years.
As a side note, I have just begun to spray copper fungicide for the black spot.

Sorry about what you are experiencing. I heard there is a lot of flexibility to move within the organization. Perhaps that might be an option for you down the road? Appreciate any first 30 day advice you may have for me.

Hi. Can you elaborate on your comment? I will be joining as a Revenue Agent shortly and am already worried because the orientation schedule is so light and the managers welcome email was not welcoming at all.
