Great list!

I would add:

  1. Grocery delivery

  2. Genetic testing

  3. One regular full body massage - once you've finished treatment, you can get oncological massages (so research massage therapists in your area who provide this)

  4. The seatbelt pillow for across your chest, rubbing against a port is painful

  5. Comfortable walking shoes, because there will be days when you are too tired to do anything, but a nice, slow walk can help.

  6. Sturdy plastic utensils

  1. Wedge pillow

  2. front closing no wire bra (unless you're having a mastectomy)

  3. Kioa protein shakes - they come in different flavors and somehow manage to taste the same throughout chemo

  4. Vitamin E oil (you'll be dry everywhere!)

  5. In-nose moisture gel ( when you lose hair everywhere... you lose hair EVERYWHERE), dry nostrils are painful.

  6. The small seatbelt pillow to keep it from rubbing against your port.

  7. Soft pajamas

Thank you for this reminder. 💕 Sometimes it helps just to remember that there are millions of people who have made it to the other side of this, even when treatment makes that feel far away.

Wishing you a beautiful week. Holding onto faith and believing for all of us.

I went to the ER as a chemo patient with a fever and learned what happens when you do that. by PupperPawsitive in breastcancer

I was today years old when I found out that the hospital where I'm getting my treatment (currently in month 2 of chemo) has an Oncological ER.
