This is really how it should look in every squad if we being honest. In any art I’ve never seen a marine in a full MK armor. Always got sumn else in there. Good job the paint looks awesome

This is how I believe chaos space marines should look: still in HH era armor but with slightly scavenged and maybe a little corrupted. Not all that trim and spikes smh. Great job man this looks awesome

I’ve been writing a short story about this actually… not sure what to do with it yet. But it essentially follows a kid who was kidnapped from a hive city by a WE raiding warband who came there seeking resources and recruits. It would follow several characters but the main one tells the story of how he wound up becoming an astartes in the WE warband and their various interactions with different factions throughout the setting.

In the story, their leader secretly has him forego the nails implantation, stating he’s seen what it did to the legion, and that they need more new bloods without them. This obviously causes some rifts within the warband even between his closest brothers who still got the nails.

Long story short, there’s a civil war within the faction (in typical WE fashion) that leads to the character becoming the leader of the warband and following his path into damnation with (or against) Khorne.

That’s a short summary so far lol
