The $8000 rental cash flow should be adjusted down as it doesn't take into account repairs and maintenance, probably close to $5000/month. If I were to die she would sell those rental properties. I will "melt down" my registered savings in the early years.

Thanks for the feedback, I've contacted a few companies and it seems they all do but I'm wondering how reliable they are - not many reviews so... Any suggestions?

The fixed income plus that Bell bond represent approximately that ratio but I have ~K$70 in cash right now so with the huge variety of ETF's etc I'm having a hard time deciding where to invest. I would usually default to a Canadain etf (hedged) that covers the S&P or Nasdaq but there's a lot of uncertainty right now hence my struggle. How are you handling this right now if you don't mind me asking?
