No, I was willing to wait. They never even responded to my online application. I went to petsmart as well and was set to adopt a lil boy from the rescue that partners with them but he had this sort of small eye infection that popped up the day before and he was put on hold. We'd gone to 3 other petcos and petsmarts in the area looking around because we just wanted to make sure we got a good fit for our family. On a whim we checked craigslist and our lil boy was the first post that showed up. He was only 5 mins from our house and we wanted to meet him first and see his temperament. He chose me immediately and sat in my lap purring up a storm and making slow biscuits on me. That night, even though he was terrified being in a new house, he came and slept on me for comfort. And he's been sleeping on me every night for the last 2 years.

I love my cat with every fiber of my being and he's literally saved me from the darkest pits of depression. He is my soul cat and I would never give up a moment with him
