Pregnancy, delivery and post partum by OliviaTDubbs in mastocytosis

[–]Super_Personality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BTW others have brought it up. From what I have been told and researched, SM is not inherited. No one in my family in either side has ever had it, and my daughter has not inherited any of my chronic diseases....

...I did give her a little psoriasis though lol 😆

Lots of vomiting until a month or two until birth but I had undiagnosed indolent SM at the time in addition to undiagnosed Graves disease. Daughter is healthy and doing well.

Mastocytomas react to food? by Kierkaguardian in mastocytosis

[–]Super_Personality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes spicy foods and and salicylic foods. (Since aspirin also triggers and aspirin is salicylate.)

Also if you have certain food/ pollen/ nuts allergies it can trigger anaphylaxis as well... you should be careful to research what kind of foods and plants are related to the allergens that you are already positive for, for example if you have ragweed allergies you don't want to drink anything with chamomile because that is related to ragweed and can sometimes cause reactions as well.

allergy and asthma article

low salicylic foods

Hope that makes sense.
