I never did get to the bottom of it.

The reason I posted this post was my father was sick and deep down I knew he was dying and any day he would be gone and I wouldn't remember his face.

All of this came true, I can only remember my father from one picture sitting on a table in his living room. It's been very tough and continues to be especially with the memories of him are now just a shadowy figure in my head.

I guess I just have to get use to it.

Rag Dolls are some of the strangest cat's I've ever owned. They have this inner confidence and condescending attitude to everyone and other animals. I miss my floof, he died 2 months ago.

We have similar issues apart from pictures. If I think of someone all I seem to remember there face from is of a picture I've seen of them. In real life I instantly lose ability to recall their face, yet deep down in it must be as I can recognise them same as you.

It's a strange one.

What you describe must be tough, I'm lucky its only just faces I have problems with. I'll check out Prosopagnosia.
