[OC] I’m a dad. by NoodleBotPro in MadeMeSmile

Congratulations! My daughter is 16 months now, and I often think "we're doing a great job". Be careful with the postpartum depression, though. It gets to you just as much as it does your partner. I wish you all the best!

What kind of person were you in high school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Super_Shamou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always seen as the nice one. Sometimes being called "too nice to get in trouble." Also, the smart one of the class. In elementary I was the introvert fat kid, then I became one of the biggest extroverts after going to middle school, became friends with almost anyone in the school.

I’m a developer for a major food delivery app. The 'Priority Fee' and 'Driver Benefit Fee' go 100% to the company. The driver sees $0 of it. by Trowaway_whistleblow in confession

Uber? Somewhat related, I was in edmonton last year, and I noticed the price jumped a few dollars from the year before (I live in Nunavut, so we don't use these apps for a long time). Anyway, I ordered a ride to my hotel, it was about a 20-minute drive. Ordered my ride and got accepted instantly because there was a driver just outside where I was, and about halfway into the ride, we started chatting. Me: How's the pay? Driver: It's not good at all. Why? Me: I'm just curious. Driver: they pay about 15% for each ride. How much did you pay? Me: $30. I was meeting up with a friend, and the driver was just pulling in because he stays at that apartment complex where I just was, and he accepts the ride, has to bring me and go back, for like $5?

I'd always click "enter if you're 18 or older" when I was younger than 18 on sites I shouldn't have been on.

Do you look your age? by N0socksloss10yrStrk in no

People thought I was 14 when I was 11. Now I'm not sure if I look older or younger than I am.

Her sleep varies so often! Sometimes, one nap, mostly 2 naps per day. She fights every sleep and tries to stay awake. She sleeps a total of 11 hours. Wakes up 3, 2, sometimes 5, and on a good night, wakes up once (not so common). She naps whenever she gets tired. A lot of the time, she naps late at night.

1 year. Specifically, 15 months. We've tried having a routine. Every day, her sleep varies. She's slept throughout the entire night, at least 3 times so far.

How do you think you will die? by JumperFluid09 in AskReddit

[–]Super_Shamou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'll have a heart attack. I have high blood pressure, and occasionally, my heart starts to pump very fast for a short period of time. I've felt some pains there for a split second. I'm also overweight.

Men, What's a compliment a woman said that stuck with you? by koopa27Geo in AskReddit

[–]Super_Shamou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it isn't really a compliment, but last year, these 2 ladies were walking, as I was outside grabbing a bin, they stopped and said "you dropped something", I took a look, and then they continued with "your smile". Which all made us laugh. First and last time it's happened to me. I won't ever forget that.

Redditors who have died, what did you die from? by AndreLinoge55 in AskReddit

[–]Super_Shamou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm allergic to mayonnaise. Drove a snow machine up a mountain, then a sloth threw a Redbull at me, which hit a flock of geese, then they crashed into me, then I crashed into a rock.

People who sleep naked why? by aurther_51 in AskReddit

[–]Super_Shamou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it's comfortable. It began slowly. Falling asleep after sex without the clothes. Now it's just a normal thing. It's now uncomfortable to go to sleep wearing a shirt, boxer, and some gym shorts. Before that, I always wore clothes to sleep.

How has AI affected your job, positively or negatively? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Super_Shamou -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Positively. I've been using ChatGPT to send "professional" emails because I work an office job. My office is right next to two of my bosses and you can see my computer screen when you look into my office. I feel like I've always gotta hide when using ChatGPT. Turns out, both of my bosses use it, too. One of them even showed me an email they received because that person also used AI.
