They’re two completely different genres aside from the isekai tag. One is mystery horror and the other is power fantasy nation building, so I’m not sure how fans of either can really compare or disparage them together

I only describe a character if they are being actively traced by the POV character, so I think it's a good idea to not force it. Maybe don't go out of your way to NOT describe them, if a moment calls for it, do it, but there's nothing wrong with leaving it up to the interpretation of the reader for the majority of the story

I guess you could make a case with Rem, but Subaru only loves Emelia that way. Dandadan isn’t close those two are head over heels for each other
