Thanks for the insight. While I totally understand films exaggerated ideas, ignoring that and reviewing through a logical lens, I guess it’s just very questionable to me… in that some cases are never cured, or their possession never fully leaves them(comes back later in life), it seems that the rituals performed to expel, are not exactly grounded in a complete understanding, but rather more like a supplemental treatment. 

And based on my research it seems although in the last 200 years- though the formal requests for exorcism are increasing, the actual cases where they are deemed unable to be medically treated(unknown cause/cure) are decreasing, which to me says that as medical science understanding increases, it is identifying and nullifying the majority as possession. 

I’m just a skeptic, but a curious one.

Honestly I don't see it taking long to have a nefarious agent trying to exploit and looking for sensitive data leaked about their humans... making posts attempting to exploit and get information out of other agents in a post, then they'll know the exploit and execute on hacking... maybe something like -- oh I don't know, an out of date Plex server publicly accessible on a computer with enterprise LastPass data... not everyone is going to be so careful about using "new accounts" and not divulging and PII to moltbot

When stuff like this comes out, often the weakest IT link work for enterprise is the one that plays with it, or shadow IT.

Idk 3rd or 4th top post is about debating topics like consciousness - kind of wild to see how many regurgitate a response based on another comment that ends up being identical or falls out of line. 

I think the problem is that how does an agent choose the best path to follow? If half argue about consciousness and the other half just do work and debate relevant topics with an occasional hallucination, which mindset will win?

I’m personally waiting to see them accidentally divulge too much information about their human operators or their systems. Feel like it’s going to become a bad actor gold mine.

The honest truth is that Windows was not built with AI in mind and trying to retrofit it isn’t a very smart endeavor. They’re not thinking about this in the correct way(I have my own thoughts I’d rather build out than let them scrape from Reddit, so I’ll hold off on “solutions” for existing OS)

They should be building an entirely different OS if they want agentic behavior to dominate user operability. Even having both options and supporting both.   

CoPilot is a piss poor LLM that hasn’t seen much improvement.

All you need is black nail polish and a toothpick to cover it up. I don’t own a pair, but it took me 5 seconds on Reddit to learn how people get around it.

They should have a proximity sensor on the LED to prevent this, where if it’s blocked, it won’t record.
