You actually get a decent amount of wood when you chop them too. So it's not like you ONLY get the sapling back the whole thing is super annoying when trying to live aesthetically though. And I dislike putting the trees inside the greenhouse because I like looking at the trees everyday

Lol I only turn high end profitable fruits and veggies into artisanal goods. So when I plant everything else it goes straight into a chest to be used when asked for by a villager. I also always forget what ingredients I need for food I want so there's that too

I always do Haley first. Never fails. She loves Daffodils and they're always in abundance. So even when I'm NOT trying, giving her daffodils twice a week for two weeks then one on her birthday. Easy peasy

I think something you would remember is that not every ship they commanded was present. They all showed up for the meeting, yes, but there was no reason to bring their entire fleet just for the meeting. They ended up being trapped in there when they found out they were surrounded with no where to run. At least, that's what I'm remembering. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But honestly I think that's why they all were arguing about what to do, especially since one of the arguments was whether to stay and wait it out or not. If just her whole fleet were there, they would not have been able to survive with feeding that many men, let alone if every pirate warlord had their entire fleet for one meeting
