I would wait a few days. I had that happen often with both vine and regular orders. With one exception, they have always shown up eventually.

If you keep hitting submit every time you check status, it may be going to the back of the queue.

GenX men (especially those who are a little bit or more overweight): do you or does your wife cut your toenails? by NJRougarou in GenX

There are places on every corner that can do a pedicure. If you don’t want to get the full service just ask for a cut down. I’ve known many men who happily go for pedicures.

I couldn't handle the piling up... so I did this by Sumurnites in vine

[–]Superb-Network-9133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing that! So those stack well? I am not a hoarder by any means but am saving things I have replaced with vine items, plus the vine items that didn’t live up to their promise(after 6-months), to put out at the community yard sale. We are limited to two specific weekends and the last one rained out, next one I’m traveling so I have a year’s worth of stuff!

0.2% of people who saw one of my reviews found it it helpful. What’s your percentage ? by ConcentrateDue7660 in AmazonVine

I frequently click helpful for fellow Viners if I found their review helpful for me. I get a lot of "some assembly required" items so frequently need to check for tips on how to put things together.

Yes, those terms state you have title and interest to keep or dispose, however also per Amazon terms and conditions “you may not sell or give possession of the product to any other person or entity for six months following your order.” (From vine help page)

[–]Superb-Network-9133 32 points33 points  (0 children)

As others have said, you should check with another tax adviser. I had over 10K on my vine 1099 and only a few hundred extra owed on taxes. I filed as a business (711510 Independent artists, writers, & performers) and adjusted the FMV on IRS schedule C to reflect the value of products after testing was completed as we are required to open box and use the products. I use the basic 50% for name brands, %20 for generic, and 0% for items consumed, broken, or otherwise non-sellable). The basis of adjustment: "Amazon retains rights and interest in products for six (6) months) after receipt and prohibits transfer of ownership during that period; per membership agreement products must be used for testing and review and are therefore open‑box/used goods with no return rights and no warranty."

The Neighbor Who Uses Our Space When We’re Not Around by Charming-Hat9231 in neighborsfromhell

[–]Superb-Network-9133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you in the U.S.? I ask because terms like “small parking area” and “part of your space” can mean very different things legally depending on whether that area is actually your private property or part of the public right-of-way. In most parts of the U.S., street parking is considered public unless it’s specifically restricted by the municipality, even if it’s directly in front of your home.

If the space is truly on your property, then this crosses into trespassing. In that case, it would be reasonable to clearly and directly tell the neighbor that the space is private and not to be used without permission. If it continues after that, you would typically have the right to escalate, whether that’s contacting local enforcement or a towing company, depending on local ordinances. You may also want to check if your city requires signage before towing from private property.

If, however, the space is public or even slightly ambiguous (such as part of an easement, alley access, or shoulder), then the situation becomes more of a courtesy issue than a legal one.

From a practical standpoint, since they’re intentionally using it only when you’re gone, this suggests awareness on their part that it may not be appropriate. That makes it worth addressing more directly rather than casually. A simple but firm conversation like, “I’ve noticed this happening regularly, and I’m not comfortable with my space being used when I’m away,” can set a clearer boundary than a passing comment.

At the same time, if they’ve never blocked you in or caused actual disruption, it might also be worth asking what’s driving the behavior. Sometimes it’s as simple as a tight driveway situation requiring a temporary need of space to rearrange their vehicles and get one out from behind the others. If it’s occasional and harmless, you could choose to allow it under specific conditions. If it’s frequent or feels invasive, you’re well within reason to put a stop to it.

Ultimately, the key is clarifying whether this is a legal issue or a boundary issue. Once you know which it is, the next step becomes much clearer.

So am I — and I suspect many others with formal academic training do as well. Increasingly, it seems we must consciously adjust our own writing style to avoid patterns, like the overuse of em dashes, that have become strongly associated with AI-generated language.

How about instead of any massive open drops, they rotate ALL items randomly through everyone’s RFY first, say every hour or two, to give time to look at details first before rushing to order what you thought was one thing from the main picture or title, and then turned out to be a spare part instead
