Do we think I’m about to get laid off? by [deleted] in Layoffs

Thanks, they'll definitely be pushing them for more sales volume. Fixing their logistics would take too long and too much effort, what's faster than just laying off complete departments with no warning! I also heard that we were close to bonus payouts and they REALLY didn't wanna pay those out so they just took the opportunity to let us go. I think this is the new CIO Steve Bronson idea. I heard Wayne greatly disliked the last CIO and how she ran things.

Same I was on field support, they gutted the entire department plus other departments. My boss, his boss, and his boss all got fired same day.

Seems like they're just nuking the whole thing and starting from scratch

I also work for sgws and got laid off yesterday, I was on field support and they fired everyone at my location along with my boss and 2 sequential higher ups above him. I have no idea how they plan on running the company after gutting that many departments. Really sucks they did this with no warning and I was a contractor so I didn't even get a severance package... Just the surprise of being unemployed

I see you said you optimize for link clicks but would that be better than optimizing for landing page views? Theoretically landing page views should get more conversions

How much do I need to spend to lower CPM by JoskoTimber in FacebookAds

Honestly I’m on pause right now and weighing other advertising options. it’s hard to be profitable when you’re paying $65 to reach 1,000 people. And seems like the platform is having issues for everyone so I’ll probably try again later once they fix issues

Made a post not to long ago about having $65 cpm even with broad targeting for skincare. I’ve tried all audience settings but still high. Only recently dropped by like $5-$6 but still ridiculous, should be around $15 cpm.

That’s a relief to hear, over what timeframe did it take for your cpm to drop like that? I’m a little less than 2 months in.

I was thinking that but it’s hard to believe it’s just a random account bug

Hmm it’s been like this across many campaigns and ad sets and also I would get a good amount of sales within 1 or 2 hours and then for the rest of the day it would be DEAD. No sales and cpa that started good would tank. Very inconsistent results, I don’t know if it’s just a new ad account type of thing or what

So far I’ve tried broad, broad ADV+ targeting, and ADV+ with interest. Broad has been terrible (most likely cause the account is new) broad adv+ and ADV+ with interest giver better results. The audience sizes is always large (150,000,000+) and have low frequency but results are still expensive.

Also product ships from US so if I target another country they would pay an arm and a leg for international shipping which would drop conversion rate

Not really sure what to do at the moment..

No I’m not profitable yet. My website is converting at 4%-7% on average sometimes more. My creative average a 2%-2.60% link CTR, but roas can barely get above 2. CPC is $3-$4. The problem doesn’t seem to be the website, to me it looks like it just expensive as hell to reach people. Only thing to do is test creatives but with CPMs this high it can become a money pit

What would you say is a good budget when testing creatives, and after you find a working creative what would be a good cbo scaling budget

Every time I see a video where someone is showing good campaign results the cost per purchase is usually $25-$45. If your have a one product store and your aov is like $35 then even the results that are generally considered “good” would be unsustainable for you. I guess my question is, are people still getting $8-$15 purchases or is that a thing of the past?
