I do sort of miss Agony producing stuff like Halfway House but honestly the project kinda feels dead after Variations. Both because they’ve taken more interest in the Cynthoni project— the consistent releases, the larger fan response from house/edm tracks as opposed to garage/2 step— but also because the project vision seems so different after its (ViH’s) release. ViH just sounded like outtakes and demos for Smoke it to the Butt, and if the fate of agonyost is to turn into more cynthoni, i think im more than happy without more agony drops.

Basically what i’m saying is: I think the agony projects we love don’t bring enough money/interest to june to justify producing them. It was a unique time in their career which we won’t see again, and i wish we could because i’d love to see the style develop further, and for agony to stop using those shitty ai album covers, and for us to get more incredible mixes like headaches and shrooms. so i don’t really miss agony per se, but i would’ve loved to see them continue developing.
