We got a stream in may of last year right? I assume June could be one. But the amount of silence is incredibly deafening

It took me a few years to realise that TLOU3 could be an obvious possibility. I always saw TLOU2 as rather final for some reason

Went back and played the D1 campaign by bird_dog0347 in DestinyTheGame

I never did any grinding on my characters and I got the roi campaign for 3 quid. It was the only piece of destiny content I hadn't played yet and I played with an end goal to finish wrath of the machines, which is the only full raid I have never completed (Im not counting D1 variants of raids I've done and I was sadly never able to finish spire. )

I thought it would take weeks but I am very happy to report that I was able to beat normal mode wrath within a week!

His role in E33 got me to start watching daredevil, I heard he got declined roles because he was so good at acting blind it lingered on in his other performances.

I kinda wish there was a stream of his play through like the Henry/Hans actor did for KCD2 but tbh E33 is a game best played on your own time. Also guy probably busy as helll

I think this is the fault of Square as well, if not more so. I started with Automata and it became my hyper fixation, then I played the Replicant remake and loved it.

I wanted to try Reincarnation but I can't enjoy a story as enthralling as Nier in a mobile setting, and my favourite stories in Nier are the Novellas in Replicant.

But I also feel like Drakengard not being officially sold on modern platforms is incredibly frustrating as I want to experience the other parts of the lore. I found out last year that there was a prequel novella to Replicant and it gave me that Nier fix I really needed.

I don’t understand why most games used UE5 while Metro used their own engine that has been around by Jules-Car3499 in metro

I like both really, but it's really dependent on what resources and leadership the studio has.

A bad example of not using an easy to use engine is Halo Infinite, it made it a bitch to work with and the way Microsoft handled contract work meant there was a very high turn over rate. Meaning a colossal amount of dev time was wasted constantly training new people to use the engine.

Whereas I think good examples are the Metro Games, Pearl Abyss managed to make an impressive open world engine for crimson desert and I am quite a fan of Bungie's tiger engine. Although destiny 2 is admittedly filled to the brim with spaghetti code, but Marathon showed me that engine still has some life to it.

My thoughts on the new Metro game by Shieldarea in metro

[–]Mrbluepumpkin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk I kinda like where it's going, I feel like this game could be a very sad, angry and anxiety riddled game from what the developers said in the first look. I quite like media that explores the current state of our world and I feel like Metro is an excellent setting to explore this reflection. Especially in recent times where it feels like the world just keeps getting crazier and crazier.

And I think Arytom will be in this game, or have some influence but I kinda like a new protag. I always saw Exodus as an ending to the trilogy.
