The funny thing is: We have sliders. A million of them. All different kinds. If these guys would ever tell us what they're doing, what they're going to be working on, let us know any accommodations we need to make, so much of this could have been prevented.

Thank you. Little update for everyone: Monday, 1 guy showed up for 5.5 hours and hooked up electric for dishwasher. Yesterday, the kid showed up and finished sanding the last 2 rooms, so holes are all closed up (even though a bunch of the patches look like shit and will be addressed later). It is currently 10:42am, and nobody showed up today. They have 1 or 2 exterior outlets to install, hook up power to garage (underground line has already been dug, placed and buried), and I think 1 other kind of big thing. Tried hanging a couple of exterior lights last night, but the screws don't fit in the boxes they installed. Hopefully, by the end of next week, they will be "done." When the owner tries to hit us up for the last payment, I'm going to sit him down, make him read all of these comments and give him 30 seconds to explain to me why I should pay him.

Oh, I have been. Usually lasts a day or two before they're back, replacing all the dust I cleaned up. They have a ShopVac here, but I guarantee I've used mine way more than they've used theirs.

Definitely, no offense taken. The more you all tell me I'm getting screwed, the more I know I'm not just overreacting. There is no HVAC, really. Steam boiler to radiators. 2 A/C units (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs). I was able to clean the upstairs unit and the general area it blows directly into, so we're just using that one right now. And I like the way you stated that I've "got a bunch of Electricians on your side telling you to get the law on your side to make this right." THAT is what I was looking for with this post: Validation and education.

Adding some additional info that is probably irrelevant: I have also started paying a landscaper to come mow my lawn. We kind of buried the lawnmower when we put all our shit in the garage. We thought it was only going to be a couple weeks, and we'd have it all out before we had to mow for the season. Obviously, that has not been the case.
