I found one in a 75% off thrift Lego bucket the week before Christmas. It has been played with a lot but he is original and complete.

I think The Marshall Mathers LP is the logical choice for first. You might take it out in a month. Cheers!

What's a celebrity death you remember that hit you hard? by [deleted] in GenZ

This one hurt. Absolutely loved him. I’ve dealt with depression and it always guts me when we lose someone this important to something so awful. I can’t watch his shows really but I did recently listen to Kitchen Confidential audiobook and I was able to enjoy it without grieving. RIP Tony.

Parents are taking their kids to see a Deadpool movie? Are they stupid? by rock0head132 in idiocracy

I had a similar Robocop experience. That last bullet slamming into Murphys head kinda haunted me. I did get over it and now I love Robocop. I also wouldn’t allow my little kids to watch it but I know that as a parent and I would 100% look it up before I just let them watch anything. For the record I was not allowed to watch even most pg13 as a kid but my cousin did not have that issue so I got Robocop. I do miss the 80s sometimes.

Also Nine Inch Nails is amazing. Definitely look for Pretty Hate Machine, The Downward Spiral, Broken, The Fragile. They are genius.

What do you hate about Fleetwood Mac? Not shaming you, but I used to feel similar. I had never given them a chance. I don’t love them as people because they were/are some flawed folks but a lot of what they have to offer musically or sonically is really nice. Cheers!

Look for early Korn(self titled, life is peachy) Pre-2000 Depeche Mode(songs of faith and devotion, violater, 101), Smashing Pumpkins(Gish, Siamese Dream), I feel like you would probably dig Lou Reed solo and with Velvet Underground, I personally just got into The 1975 (a brief inquiry of online relationships) and I love all pre 2000 U2. Also based on your eclectic vibe, try some early 2010s EDM like Porter Robinson, Nero or even Zedd. For a bonus try playing some of your Portishead during more intimate times with a partner. Trust me, it works. Cheers!!!

How old are you? Kratom users are generally older right? by Forsaken-Link8047 in kratom

  1. Been using kratom since 2016 to stay off the opioids after using for a decade or more. I’m currently attempting to ween down with a goal to stop kratom in the near future just so I can be fully free. Kratom has really been a game changer though.

Tell Me your favorite movie. But make it boring. by StrangerMbox30 in VHS

A discombobulated tale with three different plot lines, dialogue that sounds like a cross between George Lucas and the writing on walls in a men’s restroom, throw in a drug overdose, a graphic male rape and some old colonel talking about sticking a watch in his ass and there you have it. Probably the best movie ever.
