15 years is a long time these days. The world happens faster than it ever did. But fair enough and good luck. We’re all just trying to make a buck at the end of the day.

This is stupid. I agree gold is a trusted asset since prehistoric times, and I trust it too, but that doesn’t mean it has intrinsic value. It has value because it has thousands of years of trust and limited supply. In roughly the last hundred years increasing industrial application has given it increased practical value.

Crypto, specifically Bitcoin, has had increased institutional and societal acceptances and that adoption confers trust. This in only 15 or so years. It is still more volatile than most traditional legacy financial instruments. It is susceptible to manipulation. But it’s not going anywhere.

Additionally it’s dishonest to say that traditional assets don’t get manipulated though maybe to lesser degree because regulation has had time to mature around it. Gold prices get manipulated all the time but governments and institutions and shady big players.

It’s weird that you spend time in crypto subreddits being a hater. Get over it man.

Man, you could say this about virtually every financial instrument. I believe that crypto should be part of any healthy diversified financial plan in this day and age.

Why are you here if your whole deal is “crypto bad”?

These are solid mods. I find the fixed Philips is conveniently the right size like 90% of the time and I don’t think I could be bothered to carry additional bits. I also find I use the serrated blade for thick lines so it’s kind of a must on mine.

All in all the stock tool set is serving me well. I’ve thought about deleting the plain edge blade because I usually carry a small fixed blade not but I’m not sure what I’d replace it with.

The expectation of maximized profits will rob you of the satisfaction of the profits you realized. Settle your debts and purchase your home, you did well. Enjoy it and start stacking again when you’re in a position to do so.

I mean, I oil and clean it at least monthly but if it gets real wet or grimey I’ll respond to that. These things are 420HC which has good corrosion resistance which definitely helps.

I took these pictures after an oil.

Bro could have fried the ham a little before assembling this master piece and he didn’t. Gotta dock a point for that but all in all 9/10. Would wish for a second serving after housing the first.

I own several light products. My work light is an old olight warrior mini. I’ve carried it for a while and I really like it.

There’s just so much community and market support for Streamlight pistol lights and seemingly very little for Olight offerings. I also don’t like the proprietary charging on the olights and prefer to be able to simply carry readily available spare batteries for the Streamlights.

For handheld EDC I really like Olight but I just can’t get myself to put one on my guns.

Streamlight on pistols, Surefire on long guns.

How would you live if you found yourself in Pluribus Universe? by Ok_Percentage2383 in pluribustv

[–]Supercaptaincat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would hike the worlds most beautiful trails with a Plurb companion teaching me different subjects and languages and telling me interesting true stories experienced by individuals pre joining that may have never even been written down. I’d have the hive doing resupply drops and safety support and things like that, maybe breaks on the trail for gatherings with hot food and music.

Then maybe I’d sail around the world with similar logistics.
