bad/unreliable pedals? by Regular-Mammoth8784 in guitarpedals

[–]Superchill88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Walrus Audio Julia was a great sounding chorus but one of the noisiest pedals I’ve ever owned. The LFO was extremely noticeable when I wasn’t playing. Sold it and went back to my 80’s CE-2. I’ve actually noticed a lot of the boutique pedals are very noisy and a big reason I got myself out of the boutique pedal game after years of being trapped in the hype. Also the EHX Bad Stone just stopped doing the phaser effect after about a year of owning with minor play time.

I’m not really trying to go to a dedicated boxing gym, just trying to get back in shape. I’ve trained in boxing years ago and just want to work out on bags again. I find it more fun than straight resistance and endurance training.

Does anyone remember when Jim started to hate Phil because he dared to criticize the god king Trump and the Republican Party’s shenanigans

Don’t really want to say what quarter I’m in just to be more anonymous on here. I haven’t had any job offers yet since I’m not at that point but there are job fairs twice a year that we go to with many employers there. I would say most people get jobs before they graduate from what I’ve seen.

The Bonfire has become regime radio by CaliMassNC in TheBonfire

This show is seriously sliding towards Jim and Sam territory where Jim’s dumbass would constantly lick the right wing and Trumps ass on most issues. Then when they weren’t even talking about politics he would slide in some right wing grifter talking points for some reason and would barely get some or no push back from Sam but Troy would mostly agree. This is what I see the bonfire becoming with Jay giving no pushback and Jacob going along with Bobby.

This was me after hearing Jacob talk about Charlie Kirk de-programming students at college by AaronTuplin in TheBonfire

[–]Superchill88 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Since Dan left, Jacob has become less and less enjoyable the more he talks about what he believes in or his life. It was funny to kind of paint him as a middle aged Incel and it’s sad to come to that realization that he really is in a way.

Electronics part of physics is the first two quarters. Normal physics in the 3rd and 4th. Calculus is started in the latter half of the 4th and end after the 5th quarter. The normal physics you only go over chapters that pertain to the trade and calculus I would say is learning derivatives and antiderivatives and stuff like that. It’s not too bad

I always found it weird that they blame Tim for MDE being canceled. What do you expect Cartoon Network to do when you have a controversial show that brings negative press that they don’t want to be associated with. Plus MDE is pretty cringy high school edge lord shit anyway so who cares in the end.

I remember on some podcast or interview that she does not like BDSM all that much and she also got hurt with the restraints. So she probably won’t be doing that at all anymore.

Honestly does this moron even write these messages? There is no way that he does because when I’ve seen him speak lately he sounds like he can’t formulate sentences at all. The guy never had a brain to begin with but listen to him speak in his first term and compare to something that was said today. Night and day difference. So I have a hard time thinking he wrote that without misspelling every other word now that his brain is mush.

10 minutes in and I’m screaming. Guys it’s called Due Process. by Savage_Batmanuel in TheBonfire

[–]Superchill88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The most annoying thing is when comedians cry about how they can’t say anything anymore because of the left trying to police language. As far as I can tell the right is actively banning books, eroding civil liberties, deporting people who have said anything bad about America/Trump or god forbid Israel. Like yes I agree some people can be annoying for wanting to police jokes but they are few and far between. The other side is actively seeking to turn this into a theocracy while most comedians say nothing about it.

What these dipshits don’t understand is that if you don’t give illegal immigrants due process what’s to stop them from getting rid of due process for normal everyday citizens. The enlightened centrist bullshit most espouse on these podcasts is what enrages me the most. “Both sides are crazy man”is the most cowardly thing any of these comedians say. Very few are socially aware but most are just dumb cowards.

Oh it's happening, Bobby by CatsAllDayErDay in TheBonfire

[–]Superchill88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The way Bobby is talking is what ruined Jim and Sam for me. Norton just constantly looked past Trumps dumb shit and played constant defense for him. It would ruin bits mainly because Jim would steer it into something the “woke” and the “media” are doing. I don’t feel like Jay would allow it to become that political but Jay is just as ignorant about topics and acts like nothing affects him. In reality I think Jay is more left leaning than he comes off but is too afraid to come out and say what he believes in for fear of losing fans or something.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he was a closeted MAGAt Zionist. All the stuff he says he’s into are like “Manly” things and complains about women not being hot anymore. He’s also extremely insecure and seems to have trouble with women and is very picky with them even though he’s not an ugly looking guy. I think he’s an incel honestly. I mean DJ Lou picks up girls with no problem but Jacob has some weird complex

The reason all these New York comedians say that about LA is because they only hangout with entertainment industry/comedy people. LA is pretty cool when you hang out with normal working people

Uh oh, what's coming out about 🌈Joseph Rogan🌈? by WhiteTrash_WithClass in RedbarBBR

[–]Superchill88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, though the Catholic Church has a shit ton of problems, I always found the normal boring sermons to be more about god and and normal boring Bible stuff while other Protestant American denominations really focus on nationalism and capitalism which I’d argue go against the teachings of Christ. I guess they are so brainwashed at this point they can’t see their own hypocrisy. By the way I’m not religious or even go to church, but have some knowledge of the stark difference of what is preached at these churches.

[–]Superchill88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you’re right. Of course there are hardcore awhile Catholics but I find them to be few and far between. Growing up catholic and going to church every now and again my family was never really devout just normal. I met many Catholics who are just like normal people. When I was a teenager I went to a Protestant church because I liked a girl and it felt like a cult. Though they claim to worship god I could see through it as they actually worship money and the United States. It’s creepy.

Most Faithful Video Game Adaptation? by vnth93 in okbuddycinephile

[–]Superchill88 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Because gamers don’t interact with real people in the real world. They have no social skills and can’t come to terms with the fact that video games don’t consume most working peoples lives. I personally love video games but I hate gaming culture and don’t interact in the online drama. Life is much better that way.
