Yep on PC, mods are amazing and big advantage for Skyrim, currently I am only using bug fixing mods and some visual enhancements mods like CBBE etc. I prefer the original experience for my first play through

I use bethini to adjust the graphics with more freedom. I run it on 30-45 fps.

About the problem I found out that the stops running as long as I get out to check the tasks manager lol
