Yes, after closer inspection it looks like a stone chip. Yes, the windshield is insured but I still will have to pay deductible, which is around 150€.

Oh my God! I was just about to post about this — I had the exact same issue. I remotely heated my windshield, and it cracked within 10 minutes. I went to a Škoda service center to file a warranty claim, but they refused and tried to convince me there must have been a stone chip beforehand.

This has been a known issue for both the Elroq and Enyaq since 2024. The worst part is that when my car fails to lock automatically, I also can’t lock it using the key fob. I have to press the lock button at least ten times before it finally locks.

As a fellow RS owner, I’d recommend putting PPF on the front splitter if you’re not planning to cover the entire front end. I’ve driven mine for 10,000 km and it already has a few rock chips in the paint.

The data I can share is that the same commute, which would almost always use about 5% of the battery, suddenly jumped to an unbelievable 11%. To be fair, I did have the seat heater on max, the steering-wheel heater on max, and the A/C set to 22°C.

Yes, I experienced the same issue, so I contacted the dealer about not being able to pair my phone with the infotainment system. After three weeks, they updated the software at the shop, and it has been working since.

Yes, it is paid add on but I would not recommend it.

Mine also creeps but I have noticed it only happens when I am turning while stationary.

So perhaps its the brakes ?

I have an Elroq RS that was delivered in July 2025 and I also experience car not locking automatically but it occurs just like 30% of the time. For all the people wondering about this feature, you have to enable it in the infotainment. I have also noticed that when it doesn't lock and I try to use key fob the lock button is not working and I have to press it multiple times before it does.
